Borrowed Views Press was established in September of 2003 in Portland Maine. Painting Maine The Borrowed Views of Connie Hayes (ISBN 0-9747107-0-9) is its first book and it is now completely SOLD OUT. Copies occasionally come up for sale on Amazon.com. A second printing is not planned at this point. The book was designed by Sam Silvio of Chicago, has an introduction by art writer Carl Little, and a foreword by Chris Crosman, former Director of the Farnsworth Art Museum, and was printed in Italy.
